Allcock AERIAL Model 7950-T6 4'' Wide drum, 1923-34, all aluminium, ventilated eight hole front flange gunmetal finish, six spoke with screwed tension adjuster and quick spool release, polished finish backplate with Allcocks 'roundel' logo and registered design number stamp, brass circular check button with attractive knurled top operating 'V' spring check, crazed xylonite handles which spin freely on their spindels. Undamaged brass foot.
Allcocks pre war reels were guaranteed by the maker 'without time limit' and this fine example having been recently serviced by Garry Mills of Mill Tackle is in tip top working order, spinning very freely without wobble. In overall excellent condition and the optimum configuration (4'' wide drum) for an 'all rounder'. A really excellent reel to use and attractively priced.
