WITCHER 'THE AVON CENTRE PIN'. Unmarked, Nr.Mint, looks unused. SCARCE. An early example (reel no.15), c.1991, from the first generation, or pattern, produced commercially by Mr. Witcher. Only 20 were produced in black anodised finish with a further ten completed in natural alloy. 4 ½'', narrow drum (¾''), 12 bronze spokes 'in line', 'V' spring check with rim lever mechanism, phosphorous bronze bush and line lays. Engraved to the back 'The Avon Centre Pin'. Beautifully engineered using the finest materials. Practical, collectable, very desirable and rarely offered for sale. A joy to own, Witcher reels are regarded as without peer.
